2010 marks Quarter
Midgets USA 11th year of involvement in Quarter Midget
racing. Little did we know when we started in
1999 with a home built car and trailer towed behind a
Ford Taurus wagon what a ride it would be! At first
glance much of it is a blurred memory, but after review
with family and customers the stories and memories of
great times come flooding out. Like everybody else, we
had our ups and downs on and off the track. But will
cherish those memories good and bad forever. Good time�s
spent with family and friends are irreplaceable.
On the business side
2009 was a challenging year for most. Throughout the
year while talking to our suppliers and counterparts in
the Quarter Midgets retail business, all reported
downward trends in sales and voiced an overall sense of
doom and gloom. At USA we were steady and saw the same
pre season up trend and the usual pre grand�s spikes
along with the indoor and Christmas rush as in previous
years. As in all things only the strong survive! For
that we thank our loyal customer�s new and old!
2010 brings a new start
and new look to USA, we are working hard updating our
web site; we have finally completed the transition from
Harper Racing to Quarter Midgets USA. We are bringing in
new exciting product lines, while also stocking the
parts and brands you have come to know and trust.
Our children Corey and
Halie will be taking a more active role in 2010 and
beyond, this will insure USA�s longevity and their youth
brings a fresh outlook and new ideas. Their first
assignment will be a 2010/11 catalog, keep an eye out
for its release.
